Yeah the cmc is a big storm... but it’s way East... not really even close to a big impact here... gfs meh. Steps in the wrong direction so far. Everyones favorite model the ICON makes the connection though... nice storm

I expect this angle to be worked hard over the next few days... and If the storm is still there on Tuesday... I expect this commentary to flip too “ this is easily 12-18 East of River”

Yeah.... we’ll see. A bit concerning to see the gfs pretty consistently not interested at all in this threat. We know that this year.... the more mundane solutions in terms of snow have generally been spot on. Then there is the cmc on the opposite end of the spectrum which is an eastern SNE blizzard.

CMC is A SNE Nuke Friday into Saturday Jimmy gets his seasonal snowfall in 1 storm if the CMC is right.... shellacking for SE Mass and the cape. ThAt would right a lot of wrongs for this season

I mean in a sense, we are kind of due right? I’d you swing enough times eventually you’ll make contact. Like Will said, there seems to be two marginal windows, and after that, it may be close the shades for good.

Gfs definitely more enthused about the event potential next weekend. Not there obviously... but much better look than 6z

That threat on the 13th on the 6z gfs is the ultimate winter 19-20 slap in the face. It snows half way to effing Bermuda but we can barely managed to get scraped by the NW edge.
