  1. The models that do get appreciable precip in here have this as a pretty long duration event
  2. Raining in Stowe, I don’t believe it!
  3. Not saying it won’t rain outside of the heaviest stuff, but .2 over 30 hours is just nuisance crap.
  4. The biggest problem I see with this event is the axis of heavy rainfall is going to be pretty small. So even if it does end up onshore somewhere, I think a relatively small area is going to get good rain. It doesn’t look like there is a bunch of widespread rain outside of the heaviest stuff. So it’s basically going to be a have and a bunch of have nots
  5. I don’t have a huge problem with it. No doubt the private land and people crowd would be the first ones crying if their wells or city water went dry. They are asking people to not water their lawns, not pump water across the country to someone else or something.
  6. Ball don’t lie. You can’t take a snapshot of the last 10 days. Drought maps don’t lie.
  7. Looks pretty normal in Tolland. Glad drought isn’t an issue there.
  8. I mean; you may feel differently if you had to drill a new well because the guy down the road was watering his lawn 6 hours a day
  9. The drought is not nearly as bad in CT. Eastern ma has been hit hardest. No debate there
  10. They are literally handing out fines to anyone caught watering outside in many towns in this area. The town of scituate I believe had already handed out over 100 citations I believe. Those restrictions extend to private well water too in many areas. So you can be fined for watering even if you have your own well
  11. Either way, what a performance by the euro. The only thing it is king of at this point is defecating on itself.
  12. The leaf drop around here is insane. It’s going to be a dog shit foliage season.
  13. That 6z run is probably best case scenario here
  14. 6z NAM and Icon are sprinkles for SNE
  15. I’ll take what I can get. But .3 over 24 hours doesn’t really move the needle much
  16. Nice 24 hour barf job by the euro. Went from nearly 2 inches of rain to about a quarter inch in one run for an event that’s a day away. Solid
  17. We may get some rain here… but my guess is a Nam solution will be more correct than the euro
  18. Current solutions 24+ hours away range from stein to 2+ inches here
  19. Not bad, but a solid 75 mile east jog from 12z
  20. Icon and NAM both a step in the wrong direction at 18z
