  1. Bought March 2019 here, and boy am I lucky. Basically just had to sit and watch the value of my house skyrocket since.

  3. What can I fertilize the spruce witg when it comes? A fertilizer spike?
  4. I’m kind of impatient lol… the 3 foot Colorado spruce they are sending is already 5 years old. Im down for trying anything that looks good and gets decent size. To build my neighborhood, they just leveled the whole area. The only trees that are here are those stupid ornamental pears. Some people have planted some other small stuff, but I’d like something bigger
  5. Bought a Colorado blue spruce and a dawn redwood tree from an online nursery on Etsy of all places lol. Come about 3 feet tall, reviews are awesome….
  6. Right, everyone here is hunting huge storms, so for many folks east and southeast, the blizzard this year was an all timer.
  7. I don’t disagree with your points at all, I just think this entire forum puts a premium on high end winter events, and from me to you had an all timer. Retention was generally terrible, and outside of the bigger ticket events, we basically did not get much snow, so I understand that aspect of it. For me, I don’t weight retention much here. We usually don’t hold snow much. I place a much higher weight on bigger events
  8. I’m not sure how anyone who got 25+ inches in the blizzard can rate this winter below a B. That reeks of unrealistic expectations
  9. Shot an 88 today at Ridder farm. Not bad for first round of the year. Wind was really blowing, made for some ridiculous drives on holes where wind was too our backs.
  10. You can also envision a scenario where all it takes is 1 storm to come close to average here. So you an strikeout a lot, but still hit the grand slam when it matters
  11. That dude who hit the sign at first and then stood outside his car almost got bundled into the next life.
  12. Heading out for my first round of the year Saturday morning
  13. If it was real, pretty lame by Will Smith. That’s the best he could do?
  14. Not a bad day today. Finished cleaning up the beds. Bulbs popping, hostas poking through. Red maples have buds on them.
  15. I work in mosquito control for the state and we were sampling larvae in a swamp and when we’re walking out, I turned my head to avoid a branch and a small twig from another tree perfectly went right into my ear. It sent a jolt through my whole body lol. Just one of those weird things, probably couldn’t replicate it again if I tried.
  16. I recall many memorial days that were pretty warm/hot. Memorial Day on is summer.
  17. Yes. I’m wearing an earplug while showering. It actually doesn’t look too bad, it’s not inflamed and there isn’t any blood or anything. Ill probably schedule an appointment next week to have them take a look. My sister in law who’s a nurse advised me against going to an urgent care or anything right now. She said there is nothing they will do, and they do not preemptively treat for an infection, so no point. Im going to keep an eye on it the next few days, if any hints of infection start forming, I’ll go immediately to get an antibiotic.
