  1. Not surprised. Another crappy year for severe weather up here. This whole virus thing, stuck at home, and can’t even work in the yard without wearing layers is aggravating. If the weather was decent it would at least be tolerable.
  2. I wouldn’t call what came through Ohio a derecho. The line literally fell apart as it was moving through Ohio’s typical hostile environment for a good thunderstorm in the central part of state. I’ve seen general storms with more bang than what we got last night.
  3. Yeah and the models had us under torrential rain and storms several days out to only be incorrect and well south this weekend, which I am fine with, though a decent thunderstorm would have been nice. By Friday we’ll probably be under a trough and in the 60’s...
  4. LOL They died as quick as they entered. Welcome to Ohio.
  5. Well I am taking a break from weather, this season is crap at least for Central Ohio, it’s turned into either a dying complex or everything goes around. If I hear thunder it may storm if I hear a siren maybe a tornado, lol. Time to enjoy the heat.
  6. Saw that, seemed to start popping up pretty quick. HRRR says Columbus around 5z so we’ll see out this way.
  7. lol looks like we’ll have to continue talking about it because this threat went poof. Maybe by the end of the season with this crap pattern we’ll get to page three in this thread.
  8. Well if the low is further west then, western and central Ohio should be in play. But yes too hilly out that way
  9. Interesting enough that the HRRR has shifted the low track further west in Indiana now, is a bit more intense, and shows a line of supercells forming in Indiana and moving into a more unstable Ohio during peak heating. Will be interested to see if this is a trend.
  10. ILN keeps talking about the system this Sunday too as potentially watching the track given the further north and west track on Euro and other models latching on to this solution as well. Haven’t paid much attention to it since SPC doesn’t have anything this far north but possibly something to watch as well.
  11. Huge concern for that, especially if we get the rain forecasted the next couple days. We couldn't get a drop not too long ago and now the faucet won't turn off and sprung a leak. The small storms this past weekend were efficient rain producers, looks like we have the same amount of moisture to work with once again.
