Oh I like a nice lawn. Just don't care as much if living in the city. I have a nice lawn/yard here.
Philly could use more trees the issue is people tend to park on the sidewalks ( terrible shortage of available parking ) greatly limiting where trees can grow. If you are not parked by 5 forget it you are gonna be either double or in some cases triple parked blocks away. Unfortunately sections of Philly was built before the automobile.
Center City isn't too bad as is some of the ne part of the city. Been a bit of progress in recent years.
I personally was ok with it. What I didn't like was parking or driving with the traffic there. Plus it's expensive.
You all can have the high wind and severe hail that's been had here the past decade or so..
As for the lack of for the rest of the state I think part of it seems like terrible timing with frontal passage etc. Always seems to arrive at night and or early in the day.
Amazes me how it can be like night and day between the SW corner of this state ( south of i96 and west of i69 ) and the rest of it.
After March 2012 I'll pass on that. Usually leads to a torch summer especially if it's a dry spring across the region. Or so it seems. I just know I want no parts of that summer again..
Would have made for a epic Les event in January or February. The closest I believe/think was November which hung around for 3 days and dumped 21 inches of Les here.
