  1. It is indeed the proverbial step back, but not a disaster
  2. Leaves back more energy than 18z GFS. This does not appear to be the run we are looking for
  3. Funny thing is, it looks slightly worse than 18z GFS, but..it kinda looks like the 0z NAM
  4. Recovered a bit, but heights are lower in front vs 18z...not dramatically so
  5. Seeing some negative changes vs 18z. The northern stream angle seems weirdly different. its digging like straight down instead of ssw
  6. ok, 24 hours...angle of the dangle (northern stream vort) is better. No determination on how good/bad yet
  7. Nothing huge yet, but northern vort seems a hair stronger
  8. Who is getting carried away. Like what makes you think that
  9. I hope nobody in here is reaching for a historic storm or some city closer. Our best bet is to hope for 4-8...maybe 5-10? And that would awesome considering where we were 24 hours ago.
  10. Let me go ahead and do the ICON pbp even though it's not out yet THE ICON SUCKS
  11. Movie is over. I would guess that the NAM was about to hammer us.
  12. The trof is stunning. maybe gonna close off soon or after 84
  13. I would be surprised if this doesn't turn out much better. Undeniable at this point
  14. Very good connection with southern vort now...whole trof seems more connect...still positively tilted just west of the mississippi
  15. Looking promising at 60. Less energy left behind and heights building slightly more
