  1. puking snow. roads caved. All the buzzwords will be here tomorrow and I'll be around to witness it. I'm excited. I'm actually kinda serious. There's the off chance that we luck into a HUGE model error where every single model is 100% wrong. Right?
  2. Ok, now see. He was saying this isn't a hobby, it's like an illness. A sickness we're addicted to.
  3. I think I'm at 38. in 24 hours should be steady around 72. I'll keep you posted.
  4. Or...and hear me out...don't leave and just adjust your delivery? This isn't a binary choice here.
  5. Don’t think there will be any significant icing anywhere. Airmass is way too marginal.
  6. Man, glad DC folks were out of the game on like Sunday. I still think I-81 works out the best but not even sure about all of those MECS type amounts.
  7. Ok city folks. Our goal is 2 to 4. Just shift your expectations and things will be a lot better going forward. Accept your climo and reality. We are going to see snow in the air and we're tracking something in December. Lemonade lemons etc etc.
  8. Almost went there, but I'm an admin. Have to set the fucking standard around here for good language and good behavior.
  9. Lot of hot takes here today. Got accused of "cliff diving" or whatever because I'm a lifelong residents of these here parts, and I've seen this movie a million times and I know how it works out. People know I don't just give up easily...shit sometimes I'm the last man standing when everyone bails. But this one doesn't feel right...I'm talking for us 95/DC folks. For you...kick back, open up a can of your favorite brew and get ready for the show.
  10. It's over for 95 East and DC people. It's climo. We knew the job was dangerous when we took it. (living here). Nobody should be angry about it. I don't want only 1 to 3 or 2 to 4 of course, but bitching about it won't make it happen. For the folks who aren't getting the goods, now set some reasonable expectations..2 to 4 isn't out of the question....still think it's gonna be tough with torch temps.
  11. Yeah, this one is getting away from us. Time to start measuring expectations here or make plans to chance west. Still like my earlier call of 2 to 4" for beltwayers. You can keep your dress stored away.
  12. CMC is a powerful 2-4 inches here in the metro area. I guess.
  13. Well, with the extra hour of daylight savings time gone, should help the storm.
  14. Dont worry. The surface will create its own cold air.
  15. Yeah, it's a marked improvment over 0z for sure.
  16. Still going at 96. Like I said lowlanders, we know we're going to mix, change to rain maybe...the GFS is probably the way we want to do it if we had a choice
  17. Low position is ideal...but maybe it's TT algorithms, but I'm raining at 84
