    Whatevs, I am pretty certain that my mom's car that is sitting in a parking lot about 5 miles inland from Cape fear is never going to be driven again. I hope they have a place to go back to, luckily they are on the third floor of their condo building. The water has been the issue with the stall and dump of 20+" of rain on top of the storm surge, and that doesnt appear to have improved at all.

    My parents have a condo in Bolivia NC. Glad I told them to evacuate 2 days ago. Euro locked in, the GFS always does this. All the upgrades the ECMWF has been making that "make it worse" for winter weenies have actually been made in order to improve forecasting in the tropics.

    I just built myself a whiteboard. It is slightly elevated off the ground by a couple long legs made from something similar but smaller than a 2x4 flipped tall side vertical. It does seem to make a difference vs the top of my black impreza. Next step will be to get some powered refrigeration under that baby just like an ice rink lol
