  1. I mean region wide, but yeah CT is in a good spot. SW CT probably even safer but I'm fine for my hood.
  2. That kicker energy offshore up in the northwest is different too
  3. If this follows the modeling progression for January 2016 then we will all be congratulating you and Pope on the jack by go time.
  4. well they wouldn't be the SREFs if they weren't. When you've lost those east, that's when you know you've REALLY lost it.
  5. I don't know if it is 80%, but it's a lot, that's true. My kids' school has already said that if there aren't power issues, they just have a remote day instead of a cancelled day.
  6. This has slowed down a bit, hasn't it...I'm still stuck in past runs. This is more of a morning deal now for E Mass?
  7. Luckily it will be happening overnight, feel for the people working 2nd/3rd shift though - I guess Boston could be rush hour hell
  8. It's not THAT different from the OP. Just means to me that we don't have certainty yet. At some point one of them will fold.
  9. I wasn't looking at qpf, it was maybe slightly cut back in some areas, splitting hairs. It was not the OP.
  10. If anything it's better but that's to be expected as we get closer and spread tightens. But it didn't budge an inch.
  11. It started instantly accumulating from a few flakes today after half a day of rain.
  12. You think there shouldn't be a thread for this? what in the actual hell
  13. The frenchie still looks good at 18z. Did you know that's the same model core as the Euro?
  14. I guess...this evolution of gaining latitude to a point and then just splitting east has been the theme for a while. It's about how much latitude it gains. That run did it what, 40-50 miles south of 12z? I think that's still easily within the spread of the ensembles.
  15. He's not wrong about a likely sharp cutoff. And he may not be wrong about where it sets up. What people think he's wrong about is his level of certainty about it.
  16. The NAM at least used to be pretty good at not falling for those, and it does have it.
