  1. would love to see that dig a little
  2. Try looking at the sim radar instead of 6 hour precip. You are pretty much dry by then.
  3. What's interesting is it looks like that is the main driver of the favorable mslp on the 6z GEFS. They didn't go all that far east down by VA, but once they hit 40N it looks like they got squeezed east.
  4. that's what those flatter heights did for us right? NAM did have a ton of confluence
  5. Worth noting that at 12z today, the southern stream s/w is just starting to come on shore. Will be mostly on shore by 18z.
  6. Thanks! The point I was trying to explain to him was that my layman's eye was seeing the southern shortwave keep getting slowed/delayed on the models, which seemed to be giving the northern stream shortwave more time to catch up relative to how far east the southern shortwave makes it before starting to get captured, which I think would have the same result as a stronger northern stream s/w...an earlier capture? Am I thinking about this correctly?
  7. I'd like to believe if this somehow did miraculously get itself out over water, then that look might change a bit as well?
  8. Oh no, I wasn't talking about the storm there...I was referring to Scooter's wad.
  9. I guess I figured it would matter how much of that forcing produces white stuff vs clear stuff.
