Yes indeed... although that may be one of the shortest record setting time periods of a high temp I've seen with a 13 degree crash shortly thereafter.

Yep, temp has been all over the place depending on the wind direction.  Looks like they briefly hit 72.

I am glad that I am going to experience that 68F...Now, I won't have to go chasing heat.  Praying for a bust, and we get to 70F

Wait til you experience a 69, then you'll be chasing it and praying for busts all the time.  ;)

More 37-38 degree rain. I love this winter so much. I wish I could give it a hug.

Back to tracking 10-14 day bootleg winter

    Sad to see it.

Meanwhile....8 years ago.  That telephone pole is only 120' away.

Yeah that was a nice event. Absolute paste job if I’ve ever seen one.

Great heavy, wet snow event.  Went and knocked snow off the red maple branches shortly after these pics as they were bowed down to the ground and looked ready to snap.

Tough to wrap your mind around just how insane the positive temp anomaly was for January.

Not sure if they've released info for your neck of the woods but down here....

  6. Interesting morning.  Rain and 36 when the wife left for work @ 5:30am.  Now down to 32 and a light coating of snow on everything except the roads/blacktop.

Looks like more snow on the way per radar.  Wonder if I'll be able to add .5" to my yearly total.

...Tonight's rain is rather refreshing. It has a diffrent feel than the rain from a few days ago, and definitley a much better, and wetter feel than the multiple rains before that.

I suppose there's just something more magical this time about looking up into the darkness of a 36F winter sky and feeling those tiny dots of moisture burst all over my face.  I can't quite put my finger on it though.

Another evening of lovely 39 degree rain.  :axe:
