    Well that was pitiful compared to forecasts.The cold feels great when the wind dies down though. In other news, GFS has the first true gulf low on the 14th. Let's see what the magic 8 ball has in store for mid month.

    6z GFS has a nice little feature on the 5th. Give that particular run a 0% chance of verifying, but at least mystery snow is showing on models again.

    And not to skip over this, but the latest GFS almost had precip far enough west for something interesting friday. not great thermals but still close.

    138, honestly on the surface the Euro for this run mimics the GFS

    Hour 126. Stronger HP on Euro, MUCH wetter. more comparable to the GFS than the 0z run.

    Euro has a stronger HP at 114 compared to the GFS by a couple of notches, and slightly southern. Drier also.

    I'm not as enthusiastic about any particular threat showing up on models yet as most, but man it feels good to see the potential there this early on.

    Are there livestreams of any sorts to watch everything out west? I've try looking but I can't find anything good.

    NOAA's FV3-GFS weather model received some upgrades on Friday, hopefully enough improvement to move into operations in early summer. Time to seriously compare to operational GFS and monitor good/bad aspects. - Ryan Maue

    Just witnessed Tennesee beat Kentucky by 19 in front of 21,000 people. Absolute amazing game.

    Never fear guys, the FV3 on its island WAY out in left field will save us all. well I mean the GFS is maybe kinda close, but not really.

    Yea, it's definitely not something to be even remotely optimistic about considering how we're supposed to be in a blockbuster pattern right now, but it's still almost better than seeing nothing.

    Used to live in Indian Trail before moving to the mountains, the number of times I watched it rain while charlotte and NW got sleet or snow was agonizing.
