    Wife and son were both commuting to their places of employment this morning. One to Harrisburg, and the other to Mifflintown. Both said they got caught in the intense snow squall, and it was pins and needles driving. Lots of school Districts up here are on a 2 hour delay. Now the wind is starting.

    It's a good discussion from him. So all the talk of a mild winter might be in question.

    At least an inch of snow here. I'm sure there is more snow the higher in elevation. Penndot is plowing this morning. Temp went from 37 to 30 during the snow squall.

    13.5 was the low. more ice on the creek this morning. The weather so far reminds me of December of 1989 when it was so cold in December .

    There is ice on the edge of the creek. Didn't expect that. So the water is colder then I thought.

    This cold airmass is impressive. Just less than 30 days ago it was near 80.

    It happens so quick, and in todays society people don't want to slow down. And that all-wheel, 4 wheel drive give people a false sense of security.
