  1. That warning box needs to be extended east. New circulation is taking over.
  2. Circulation trying to get going to the north of the old one.
  3. It has cycled multiple times...the next state over is Mississippi.... Might want to watch throwing that insult around if it better applies to you.
  4. TDS is gone now, and velocity signature has fallen apart. Doubt anything is on the ground at this point.
  5. Watching it on Brett's cam. I don't see anything.
  6. Velocity looks a little better now per the latest scan. It's still trying.. Cell near Montgomery, AL may be worth watching as well.
  7. That is not a tornadic signature, let alone a strong one.
  8. Getting closer and closer to the EF5 threshold. This is getting interesting. Edit: Nevermind, I think they are finalizing as high-end EF4. Still extremely impressive though.
  9. From what I've heard, JAN is considering going even higher than that, and that is why finalization of the survey is taking forever. Not guaranteed by any stretch of the imagination, but it is being considered. I mean seeing stuff like the pic below, I can certainly see why...
  10. Holy crap. That first pic. That is some of the most high-end tree damage I have ever seen photographed.
  11. I can't elaborate on much right now, but from the info I have, there is some very interesting stuff going on behind the scenes at JAN regarding the final rating. All I can say for now.
  12. That seems MUCH more appropriate. That slabbed, anchor-bolted house staying at EF3 wasn't sitting well with me.
  13. Mid-range EF3 apparently at that house. Despite the anchor bolting, there must have been some type of structural flaw that isn’t apparent through pictures. The comparatively mild grass and tree damage does raise an eyebrow, but I was expecting EF4 at least.
  14. Good point. I've noticed that in certain setups, storm mode doesn't effect the overall outcome much. When conditions are favorable enough, semi-discrete and QLCS structures can spit out numerous strong tornadoes, and even long-tracked ones. Strong QLCS tornadoes are more common than I think many realize. This seems to be especially true with Dixie severe events.
  15. This is one of the cleanest sweeps I've ever seen, and the best candidate for EF5 I've seen in years. Notice how not only is the foundation is clean of debris, the whole area is clean of debris, and there is no recognizable directional debris pattern. That is indicative of a remarkably violent tornado. Also note that all plumbing fixtures are all completely sheared off and missing as well. Most importantly, there is a close up video of the foundation perimeter on youtube, and not only is the house well-anchored, but the anchor bolts are bent flat against the slab from the force of the walls being violently ripped away. The only thing keeping me from saying with certainty that this is EF5 damage, is that there is some vegetation on the property that is suspiciously untouched, with quite a few leaves remaining. However, I'm wondering if these non-defoliated limbs and trees blew around the back side of the circulation from an area that wasn't affected by as violent of winds. Also not seeing any crazy grass scouring, but in any case, this is a candidate. We'll just have to see.
  16. Debris ball on reflectivity with the Riddleville tornado.
  17. Outbreak is still ongoing. Simultaneous TDS’s near Mitchell and Oconee, GA.
  18. That came out waaay to late, but at least they warned it. That one near Payne, GA touched down and dissipated without ever being warned.
  19. Massive TDS over Seneca, SC. Debris ball on reflectivity too. At least this one has a warning. Sheesh..
  20. A THIRD tornado on the ground outside of any TOR warning box in the FCC area of responsibility. This one is NW of Eatonton. Someone needs to be fired...
  21. Am I the only one here shocked by FCC failing to warn MULTIPLE tornadoes on the ground? I’ve never seen anything like this before.
  22. Yet another unwarned TDS near Macon!! Somebody at FCC is screwing up big time. Unbelievable.
  23. That was definitely on the ground and not in a TOR warning box when I pulled up radarscope. Unless this was an error with the app, someone dropped the ball big time.
  24. Is it just me or is there NO WARNING for that tornado on the ground near Forsyth!?
