    in Downtown Baltimore, it's been snowing at a good rate but I've only added a half inch or so to the snowpack since 9 a.m.  It's a fairly wet snow now, and its compacting at a good rate. Hoping the snow last a few more hours and it starts accumulating better later this afternoon.

    Maybe. But there is a reason records are  hard to break. I can see Boston ending up about 24, and struggling to get that final 3.5 inches for record. Once the storm moves away, the accumulations can wind down  quickly, Even if light snow persists past midnight.
