I got to the mtn at 7:30, when I returned at 2:30 there was another 6” on the car. It was coming down pretty hard all day. Mostly small grains but a few times it switched over to medium size flakes. Definitely 18” maybe up to 2’ up top. Good thing I had a shovel,in the car.

Just got in. Started seeing snow as I drove up 4 in Rutland. Ridge obscured in snow the entire time north on 100. About an inch here

I'm just jealous. I don't root for others to miss out except the 1/15 debacle when I was incensed by what the sne crew got when we were in a 3' bullseye 1 day out. That one still smarts.

I had heard that the vail resorts all get their snow reports from a central contractor somewhere and not from local observations. Don’t know the validity of this.

Good to hear your on your way to recovery. just got back home from 2 weeks in nne. Terrible weather pattern, 2 rainy cutters but even so, nice winter feel. Amazing what a few 2-4” refreshers do for the weenie soul. I would love to live in a place where the snow globe gets shaken up every couple of days. -
We skied at Lincoln peak until 1. It was dumping the entire time. Noticed the winds picked up around noon. I don’t know what they’re reporting but there was at least 3-4”. Surprise powder day.
