  1. We'll see how this next one goes.. Forecast as of now 2"-4" and 1"-2" tomorrow/night but POPs only 50%-60%.. Off Lake Erie, low-level flow starts out WSW tonight then veers WNW on Tue morning, but inversions are falling by then. SLRs do not look more than 10:1 most of tonight but could increase slightly on Tuesday. Overall, snow amounts east of Lake Erie for most will be 1- 3 inches tonight into Tuesday. Off Lake Ontario, it is overall a better setup for this bout of lake effect, mostly occurring Tuesday into Tuesday evening. Low-level flow on Tuesday starts out sheared from WSW then becomes more aligned from the W Tuesday afternoon into Tuesday evening before becoming sheared again as warm air advection and lowering inversions put crimp in lake effect activity. Potential for snowfall rates to 1 inch per hour maximize late Tuesday afternoon through early Tuesday evening. Have total snowfall Tuesday through Tuesday night of 4-6 inches. If these totals bump up a bit more, could see the need for advisory for northern Oswego county/southern Jefferson county and across Tug Hill into western Lewis county as well.
  2. Forecast snow amounts through Thursday AM, pretty much a carbon copy of the rgem lol
  3. Only in pulaski would they plow right into the ruler lol They must really want people to hit the trails..
  4. Well at least 1 place is having a somewhat solid season and it shows you how much"luck" is needed for LES.. Mexico COOP is approaching 90" on the season with a 2 foot snow depth..They have quite a bit more snow than all the other lower elevation Coop in Oswego county...
  5. GFS with some LES behind each passing clipper/front, not much"widespread" snow to be had the next 7-10 days.. The Friday into Saturday clipper looks the best currently, at least on the GFS .
  6. Yeah, that's not gonna cut it lol Maybe for areas that rely on southerly upslope which is not us lol Lake response will have to save the day...
  7. Haha just trying to keep it real brother..We all know this will change but this is usually the type of pattern that Dave would call garbage lol I myself like"chaos".. Northern stream disturbances and inland runners lol One of my biggest LES events last year was a synoptic rain maker..(apps runner)..Weak waves that pass to my SE don't do much for me..(Downsloping NE wind)
  8. Next week looks somewhat on the drier side besides a little JP over the tug..These clippers that go north of Ontario don't tend to have much synoptic moisture and could even introduce mixing..It's basically LES or nothing lol Not really seeing much wide spread with the GFS being the most favorable..
  9. The 3rd wave had super high Ratios yesterday, most of what fell in Oswego county was from that not LES...
  10. Rgem doing what the rgem does lol Fits the pattern though, missing the heaviest just to the south. Lol
  11. Next chance Monday into Tuesday albeit light.. The aforementioned weak sfc low will drag a cold front through our region Monday night. There could be some flurries and nuisance snow showers from this passage...but with the bulk of the energy from the system being absorbed by a storm moving up the East coast...there will be little forcing over our region. It may get cold enough though for more numerous snow showers east of both lakes. Any minor lake response should persist into Tuesday morning.
  12. Well I guess the Giants need a DC now lol The news today claimed he was staying, didn't even get a promotion lol The Las Vegas Raiders are hiring New York Giants assistant head coach Patrick Graham as their defensive coordinator, sources confirmed to ESPN. Graham, 43, joins newly hired head coach Josh McDaniels in Las Vegas after spending the past two seasons as the Giants' defensive coordinator under Joe Judge. EDITOR'S PICKS
  13. It doesn't look like much on radar but it's pure powder keg lol
  14. Lol.. You're good man, we all make mistakes, I usually just delete/edit mine before anyone notices haha
  15. Maybe I'm missing something here lol 0.6" of liquid x 30/1 ratios would be 18" of snow.. Ratios would be more in line of 13/1..
  16. GFS actually predicted the downsloping best out of the globals and NAM/Rgem..
