  1. They are plowing 28 here in Harwich. 31F temp right now, N to NE wind at times.
  2. Freaking MVY ASOS obs site showing FOG and 0.25 sm for vis, I am guessing the site is mistaking the intense heavy snow for fog.
  3. I got 3.2" as of 414pm this afternoon in Harwich, MA. Temp has dropped to 31F as NE winds take over and switch to N at times. Our surface low is below 994mb just southeast of the benchmark. Pressure falls at the buoy near the benchmark has dropped almost 4mb in the last hour.
  4. I mean the observations right now, CHH is heavy snow, mist, 32F, vis 0.25 sm, NE winds, and the bands are setting up NE to SW which favors a pivot location over the Cape. It is incredible snowfall right now over my area. Radar looks fascinating. The band over the Cape is being fed by a southerly feed or southeasterly feed, just watch the radar in close over the CAPE, incredible dynamics right now. Would not be surprised to see temps continue to drop below 30F as the heaviest snow band sets up. Also 12"+ is certainly plausible. WOW!
  5. VIS is dropping quickly from the Vineyard to Falmouth, to Hyannis and inching into Dennis and Harwich next half hour. Chatham and Provincetown only obs sites over the Cape and Islands reporting rain.
  6. Hey Will, try COD weather or Wunderground for the updated radar imagery. 12:05 pm is when we started to get wet snow flakes mixing in with the rain, temp has cooled six degrees in the last two hours or so, temperature is 35F.
  7. I was really giddy reading the MESO discussion from the SPC. I have not had one of those in my area in the last three plus seasons.
  8. Another Cape Cod poster said it is turning to snow in Barnstable, Falmouth, the OBS site at Otis is reporting light snow with a vis of 1.75 sm.
  9. Returns over and south of MVY are quickly becoming intense, 35 DBZ right now. That will likely turn into a super band and drag the cold air to the surface over the Cape, and the Vineyard, the exception might be ACK.
  10. Bands south of the Islands have been moving NE all morning, and are now moving Northward. Especially the heavier returns.
  11. Been pretty warm since the sun rose, we were down near 28F before 6am and then it warmed quickly to a high of 41F and now we are down to 38F
  12. WE are close to snowing right now. It is snowing at every tilt but the lowest.
  13. Is it snowing at Wiz's place? Snowing in western CT?
  14. Snow Sky, clear definition of snow falling from the sky, but with low level dry air present it is presenting a snow sky.
  15. We dipped into the 27-28F range this early morning, now the temp is at 32F, so it warmed some recently. dew point of 28F. Radar shows the first bands appearing south of the Vineyard (KMVY), Block Island (KBID) and Nantucket (KACK)
  16. 00z NAM is a hair slower with the amplifying southern shortwave trough. Oh and the 21z SREFs have joined the consensus a South Coast and South Shore jackpot zone with 8-12"
