Thank you for the kind words! Yeah, the campus is beautiful. I can't wait to see how it looks in the winter months (also considering that we do a tiny bit better in La Ninas here, so any bit helps :p)
Yo, congrats! Managed to snag this pic on my porch the day after I moved my daughter into JMU a few years ago.
Funny thing is, I never leave that door open. Still not sure how that ‘fly got in. Made me cry, lol.
Best of luck, have a great time!

I didn't blow through washer fluid like most others, but I'm STILL finding piles of exoskeletons in less-traveled parts of the yard. Just uncovered a few more under lesser used patio chairs yesterday. Hard to believe it's been about three months since they started to wind down. :/
Heh. I still have a few in spots. Interesting how they differ in size when compared to the annuals.
And I really should remove the dead one from my porch, but p sure s/he is not bothering anyone at the moment.

My bad, guys. I’ll get on that.
It’s cloudy out.

I have a neighbor that hasn't mowed in weeks. If I could get a spinny thing scour that ground to dirt and only that yard it would be swell.

But yeah...my one neighbor tends to mow once every 5-6 weeks. They're lovely people, but it's infuriating. The folks that used to live there kept their place immaculate, but these folks...don't.
My bad, guys. I’ll get on that.
It’s cloudy out.

Nothing better than blue plate meatloaf with ketchup glaze
Thank goodness I skipped your dinner invite tonight.
Ketchup glaze? Those words shouldn’t go together, my friend. I want to cry.

The 200% markup for bottom rail booze makes me go for the 48oz Miller Lite for $4
Drink better shìt, ya moron. Gotta make the margins.
Not that there is anything wrong with ML.

3pm is the best. You get the tail end of lunch menu before dinner menu. And then happy hour apps. You can’t lose!!
And those of us in the industry seriously thank you for camping at our tables and your 15% tip. Pretax. And minus bev service. Bless your soul.

What depths of the internet are on your browser history?
Flora and fauna. Mostly.

The older Miss J's birthday is that day and right after she was born I told Mr. J that I did not want her birthday and Christmas to be lumped together. She has since decided that she likes putting stuff up early and Dec 1st is generally the time frame.

He's retired now, gl! Has nothing better to do than watch his phone for the best matchups.
Hell, he even invited me over for dinner tonight. To eat at 3 pm. Old people.

Pretty scary, but the Halloween candy displays are up in the Ellicott City Giant.
A few weeks ago, I started tracking a Halloween decoration I couldn’t procure last year. Even after multiple attempts by myself and others in the DMV.
Because, well, umm, everyone needs a decayed posable skeleton…

They do that to have a uniform reporting network. It isn't much, 40 bucks including shipping I believe.
Bought one a couple years ago. Hella accurate. Very happy with it.

Thanks for the link! I might have to get both your and H20's suggestions, you can never have enough.
Check out S’well. As today is national hydration day, I can highly recommend. Great products and good company.

Yelling at them to get off your lawn won’t help. Even at your advanced age.

Nice! I’m deliberately putting off yard work until I can gauge the emergence at my crib. Or so I’m telling my wife...
(And per a few pages back, firebugs were late last year in my neck of the woods as well. Not a long season either. Butterflies too.)
