  1. Yep, wasted a good pattern in November and early December because it was to early climo wise. Next November I would like to see it torch from beginning to end.
  2. Didn’t you get a foot in the last March storm of 2018? I had 10-11 here in Metuchen. The first March storm the CCB ended up just to our west. We did have some nice thunder snow to start that event. Places with not that much elevation had 1-2 feet just to our west. March 2017 ended up trending west inside 24 hours. It happens unfortunately.
  3. Yep. It’s obviously personal preference on how you get to normal snowfall. You can do it all in one shot (nice to have that luxury on the east coast) or nickel and dime your way. Kord(Chicago) is crawling its way to avg snowfall with numerous little events. It’s greatest 24 hours snowfall was 3 inche back on October 31st lol. The seasonal total so far is 21 inches with that being 2 inches below normal.
  4. Absolutely. Usually if it is warm down here you guys are cashing in up there. It also helps that your avg temps are so cold during peak winter. You can be +10 for the day and still be in some CCB magic. The ensembles did well with forecasting this gradient look for the month of February. More often the not your area will be a winter wonderland.
  5. Reminds me of Knyc in 2016. How about Caribou, Maine with its 4th warmest winter and still with over 100 inches of snow. Must be nice sigh
  6. Don’t worry crew Cansips look great for January 2021 lol
  7. We should double that in the next few weeks...ugh
  8. Yep. Looks like the weeklies have less of a Niña look around then.
  9. This will go down as one of the worst winters of my lifetime. Just endless rain and mild weather. I can’t get over the lack of cold weather. It has literally been March here for the last three months. It most definitely can’t get any worse IMBY next winter. So I guess there is that...
  10. Lol. When he was metfan we had all those snowy winters in the 2010’s.
  11. Snow mean on the eps through day 15 is 1-2 inches lol.
  12. Yeah, the pig made a late home in Ak at the end of December. Usually, we get some earlier signs that the vortex might be a problem in that region. With the way December started it was kind of a quick reversal.
  13. Need the energy to be a strong a possible if you want a snow event Saturday night. The energy diving into the northwest is killing the ridge.
  14. Still 4 days away but it doesn’t look that impressive currently outside a chance of 1-3. Areas between bwi to phl could do well. As @PB-99 said, going to be a screw zone when the low transfers. Looks to be our area currently
  15. Little to no snow and some light ice. It’s mainly a rain event in your area on the euro. Need to be in Albany on north
  16. Eps mean for Saturday is 2-4 inches for the area. But I’ll believe that when I see it
  17. Lots of energy diving into the west coast next week. I don’t see how we don’t get into a warm sector of a big cutter.
  18. The epitome of this winter, flooding rains on Friday to a chance of a half inch of snow Saturday night lol. Spring can’t come soon enough
  19. Some of the ens are hinting at the boundary slipping south of our area after the 15th. The Pv will be in a better position and the AO dropping from uber strength. We get a better cold press and knock the southeast ridge down in return. Do we believe it? I wouldn’t bet my house on it....
