So you think the EURO sucked? One run outside of that was set on a solution.
The euro was not consistent at all. The past 36 hours maybe.

Look at you paying attention to it.
You bet, hell l even look at 84 hours. Look is the key word.

It looks like the nam finally catching on.

Euro isn't backing down on amounts and placement. Hard to bet against it, for the most part it's been rock steady.
Yea I’m feeling pretty damn good about this. Overachieving on the front side is a big help.

This will piss some off, but the nam will probably catch on at 18z tomorrow. Just saying. Some love the nam. Not me.

Too early to panic. All models have been trending toward a big storm as euro has showed for days for the euro to fumble at the goal line.
Not panicking yet. The waa was not great. Only goes to 90. After that we may still get the goods. On to the 18z eps.

That's what I was afraid of. Also, the WAA is getting less and less on each run. (for us)
Yea the waa was weak sauce.

This is what's been on my mind the past few hours. I honestly think it's going to be a bomb or a bust. There could be a middle ground, but I have a feeling it's going to be a few inches or a crap ton here.
I fear this as well I just don't want to discuss it. Lol!

If we block out snowfall maps and just look qpf and thermals most of us end up with at least a warning event. There is going to be a nice jackpot zone. We just don't know where yet. I think we are getting close to knowing.

It is, and you and I get clobbered with the CCB. We're running out of margin, however.
Yes starting narrow. Which we can expect. For now I feel fine.

I like it. Huge hit for southern and eastern pa.

There was talk yesterday about the analogs for this potential event. Interestingly, the #1 analog was 2000 = a complete whiff east.
I dont think it would be a complete wiff. We still would get waa snow with this. Im talking about the coastal. Right now models are looking good so this is just me being a little paranoid. Lol
-
I'm not to worried about to far west, north, south. I'm worried about everything adjusting too far east as we go. We have some room right now, but these setups usually adjust east.

This! I've been saying for some time that I don't want to be near the edge, especially the southern edge.
Thing is...I think there's an upside to this for our area. I'm not sure that the maps show the best case scenario. (caveat - it could also go the other way)
Yes! Exactly...
-
I know you all know I hate snowfall maps, but when you see a decent amount of snow to the southeast and northwest of the heaviest axis that is great look. We usually see very little to the southeast. I'm all in for now. Lol!

All the markings of an LSV crusher (AKA Cashtown Crusher). Probably been since 2016 that we have had a SLP redevelop in the SE and move almost due north into cold air. Regardless of model output the place to be for that Euro storm is the S/E one third of PA.
Yes sir! We are definitely looking good for now. Hopefully we keep the look or improve.
-
What a long duration event. From hour 108 to hour 168. Not heavy the whole event but snow falling from the sky.
-
I really like what I just saw on the Euro! As we get closer we can get more picky.

12z GFS for Thursday is Ryan Howard in his final years with the Phillies.
Swing and a miss.
I think we've lost just about every model now.
I'm so glad I booked a second trip to the Tug! It is a great stress reliever.
