  1. Even with the cold front tomorrow the temps will be above normal for most of this week. It would be nice to score something at the beginning of the pattern change.
  2. Just hit 60 at 10:09. We are already warm so why not hit 70! I think clouds will ruin our chances for that.
  3. I would gladly take a trip up there with you. Heck I would plan a trip with all of you guys in this sub. The cabin sleeps over 10 people. It is an experience you will never forget.
  4. I've been staying on the Tug Hill for vacations for 15 years now. We finally found a nice cabin 5 miles south of Worth on airbnb. The place is truly heaven for snow weenies. The wife and I are headed up there February 3 for a week.
  5. Tug Hill or upstate pa? Hopefully you get some good riding in.
  6. The Christmas night snow squall and what followed for months after that was amazing. Hands down the best glacier I ever had. I still have the newspaper articles of the record cold. If only!!
  7. Nut...great post! This is how I see it. We just got snow in a complete sh!t pattern. We had a small window to get it done. Thankfully it worked. Now we look to be headed for a pattern with better opportunities for snow. We are at a much better place than a week ago.
  8. I didn't know that. I thought it was still 6 inches. Thanks!
  9. Nice! That band earlier really put it down here. It looks like I'll fall just below warning criteria here. Other parts of York county have over 6 inches.
  10. Nice Mike! The way it's coming down I might go over 4.
  11. Heaviest snow of the day right now. Absolutely dumping here.
  12. Yea parts of York county getting it good. I am at 2.6 and snowing hard.
  13. This band over York county is legit. Ground is white and snowing hard. You might be right!
  14. Moderate snow falling here. If only this would have started at daybreak. I'm sitting at 3.6 for the season. My biggest event so far was 1.6. Give me 1.7 and I'll be happy.
  15. 12z eps was definitely a stress reliever in the LR today. Starting around the 17th through the rest of its run, it brings the cold back east. Not only the cold but decent storm chances. Now we just have to keep that look.
  16. We all need to cherish every single flake tomorrow. The Euro has the lsv approaching 70 degrees, with dewpoints in the low 60s Sunday morning. Maytown...Get the a/c ready!
  17. That wasn’t last January. You are thinking early January 2018.
  18. At least for a couple days. The 12z eps gets ugly again a short time after our small widow. I think I'm going to wait awhile to post. Hopefully in a week the models will be more consistent. Have a happy New Year!
  19. I think we are seeing the light at the end of tunnel! Only 7 to 8 days yet.
  20. I don't live anywhere in this sub, so a little hesitant to post. I'm not sure why you would want to move so far, when in most years on the Tug it is an amazing place to live. I have stayed in many places on the Tug in the last 15 years for vacations. I found the best areas to be is just southeast of Lorraine to Worth, down to just 5 miles north of Redfield. I'm not an expert of the area at all, this is just first hand experience. Maybe you can convince your wife to move back north a short distance. I'm rooting for you guys to pile it up! I will be up in February!
  21. 1993 was the biggest, most disruptive storm for a large area. For me 1996 and 2016 is the only time I topped 30 inches in one storm. It almost doubled what I received in 1993. Not trying to downplay the power of that storm, it just doesn’t live up to the others in the snow department in my local area. That’s why it didn’t even make my list.
