  1. I'm not going to lie I downplay things at first, that is just my nature. This has my attention now!
  2. We can only hope this ends quick, but I just don't see this happening. It is really crazy to see how the whole world changed in 10 days.
  3. Yea...I am so glad to be out of construction. I was in housing construction for 16 years. When it's booming times are great, but after 2008 I would never want to get back into it again.
  4. Sorry to hear this. I know what it's like to be unemployed. I was in construction back in 2008. It was a real struggle for years until I got the job I have now. I hope you and your family are working soon.
  5. I really don't want to get into this but... We would have had to basically shutdown travel in and out of our country back in December to even have a chance to not have this situation. With world wide travel this was bound to show up here. I'm sure there were cases here well before the first reported case. You cant really come up with an exact time we should have shut the country down. The longer the country is in shutdown, the ones that are not financially ready for this will be in serious trouble. If you ask me the lack of testing weeks ago is what really hurt.
  6. I believe everyone's concerns are valid, health or economic side. No one should criticize anyone for being scared or worried right now. What I find annoying is the blame game, this does not help a damn thing! When this is over we can look back and see where we went right or wrong.
  7. Yes...2016 was the last time we had a Hec's and 2012 was our last real shit winter,so yea we are winning!
  8. Can really call it a storm? It has been so bad that getting .4" is now a snowstorm. Lol Next year 3 inches will be a hecs.
  9. Agree! Lets put this long lasting spring behind us. Fall is only six months away.
  10. I had 5.9” from that event. I am at 10.2” for the season. I’m ready for thunderstorms. I could care less if I see any snow at this point. Unless it’s a big one.
  11. It’s crazy how it almost feels like January again! The never ending spring.
  12. We have had a very nice spring since December 18th. There should be no complaints about going from winter, straight to summer this year.
  13. Some flakes mixing in with the rain here. A couple degrees cooler and we could have had a nice coating here. Still hoping for a burst of snow sometime tonight.
  14. No...this is rancher but I have seen several of those in the area.
  15. For sure! I stay in a real nice cabin up there. It sleeps 10 people. I have stayed at several places but I finally found the sweet spot. I have also seen snow depths over 7 feet up there.
  16. You have to remember most of those guys don't live on the Tug. Could you imagine getting 6 inches and only 10 miles away getting 4 feet! Lol
  17. Trust me Bubbler I would love to do that, but this Winter is just a giant turd around here. I am so glad I traveled to the Tug a couple weeks ago to get a taste of true Winter.
  18. I have stayed at many places on the Tug. The best location I have stayed is 4120 townline road Lorraine N.Y. It is on airbnb. I'm not sure about availability right now.

  20. Not Ontario, very rare it freezes over. That’s why the Tug Hill gets so much snow! Erie freezes up quick. It’s very shallow.
  21. Late this week the Tug Hill will be slammed! Hopefully paweather booked the house that I emailed him.
  22. I'm sure he meant turning it up from his normal setting.
