Yeah. In a dry patch right now. But see that band out to the West. 

35.1 and from what I can see just a steady rain in my part of Frederick. 

38.7 and 1.49” so far here in SW Fred Co. 

So was driving home from VA today on 340 heading East and saw this cloud formation. Not sure the photos show it as well but was wondering about it.

Sometimes you just know. We are left with way less surprises anymore anyways. And this is coming from a person who does not like surprises. 

Was heading home from NOVA tonight. While the sunset to the West was beautiful, the view going East was amazing! It looked like cotton candy. 

There is white stuff flying over here in Frederick.

2.69” for the event. It was dumping buckets for hours between 6 and when I went to bed at 9pm. Judging by radar, it went on for a couple more hours. The region needed this one. Love to see it! 

My station down here in SW Fred ended at 3.39”

Just hit 2” here. Back under some heavy rain currently. 

Was out early this morning shopping. Am back out to pick up the kid from school and the smoke has really gotten thick over here in Frederick. 

Just cleaned out my front garden beds and am dripping in sweat. 75 her with a Dew of 63. 

So I saw a meteor fly over my house around 7:37 tonight. Took to Twitter and others saw it as well.

Current sitting in the car just outside of Leesburg. The younger Miss J has an IEA horse show today and they really want to run it outside. So it looks like they may be waiting for the rain to at least let up before they start. There will be no staying clean today.

I see some for Frederick Co although it shows they are not finalized yet. I hope they happen. The reason I got a weather station was the lack of weather reporting for this area. 

I think I am done with rain finally for the system. 2.12” total from the start to finish. 

58 out with .73”.
 

The younger Miss J went with a friend to the Frederick Fair. Midway was shut down but they enjoy all the exhibits and animals anyways. Still came home with two fish they won.

It is amazing how much the grass has rebounded after a very dry end of summer. 61 and have .28” IMBY.

My area has been bad. And we finally got measurable rain the past 3 days. Not sure what rain god I impressed but seeing even dry areas are finally getting some. Sorry that your area is still in the rain hole. Hope you get some rain soon like my area finally has. I think I know what 2 rivers you are talking about. 

We are getting rained on! A nice steady rain pushing through. It feels so nice out and smells good. It has been way too long since having a good steady rain. 

Having trouble sleeping and watching that storm off to my NW in Wash Co. It has a lot of lightning on it.

Probably was. We just got in the northern edge of that and picked up another .16" to put todays total at 1.16". Need way more but will take it.
