It's currently raining pretty good here with a temp of 43, seems to me at the least there will be some icy spots since the wind won't dry everything out before the temp drop...not sure about snow back this way though....typcially this area is the dead zone for this stuff

42 when I woke up some rain around looks like about 1.54" so far....10-1 would have been a lovely snow

There's no harm in being a weenie around Christmas...who cares if people are hugging a model that shows snow nobody is going to die from someone else hoping for snow. Relax if or when it doesn't snow you can sit in front of your computers and rejoice in the sadness of others knowing you did your best to warn them. Go drink some egg nog for christs sake

whew doggy that's alot of dry in between us and Illinois...wonder if those folks were expecting a big storm?

not sure i agree totally with this although there will be a dead zone in the middle somewhere as precip shuts off
