One of my neighbors owns an company that sells home heating oil and he just stopped and asked if I had seen the 12Z GFS. He had an extra giddy up in his step so I had to check. No temps above 60 (MDT) the whole run. Not really cold either. Just cold enough to keep selling oil. I told him the Euro does not at all concur.

@canderson's go to model, the HRRR, suggests some LSV folks will wake up with a white surprise tomorrow AM. Seems like a long shot but...

LOL. I will let it all accumulate first then when the sun comes out it can do my shoveling. Ha. The flakes are begging to melt before they even hit the surface. Weak sauce snow.

There seems to be a constant stream of precip running down between Franklin and Adams county. Keeping it chilly and moist here.

Canadian continues to suggest some records are going to fall on Saturday AM especially in Virginia, BWI, etc but MDT is at risk as well.

Need those surface temps to come down some. Outside that, on paper, the Nam depiction of Thursday is better than most of winter 2019-2020. LOL.

GFS continues to punt spring though it did not do a good job at forecasting the frying pan late last week. Lots of back door stuff. Highs in the 40's mid April.
