  1. Ha. It's not exactly nirvana here neither as to those maps. Regardless of snow maps, as I think you mentioned, at least we have a work weeks of sustained cold from the 3rd to the 8th. Something to work with.
  2. @TimB84 "I seen" the 18z GFS 384 snow map and it looks almost exactly like the snow map quoted here as to coverage. SW PA getting disrespected.
  3. I was racking my brain to remember 48 or 49, did not search back, but it was close!
  4. The HRRR has been slowly improving through the day. Focusing more a bit west of the LSV though.
  5. Just finished a short App Trail walk and it was not cold. If not for the wind it would be warm. 55 here.
  6. I have seen it but like you said, not sure I would call it sustained. As you have stated several times, would be nice to see a GFS run without 60 and 70's at some point. 6Z gave us that but just barely.
  7. Number 1 with hope of it moving east. I guess I was surprised as I scanned over the MA Lr thread and saw several posts about how cold January was going to be. Thought the GFS Op would of shown a slightly better look.
  8. Boy, those late 300hr 500MB Anomaly maps, on the GFS, are quite unique....the 2M temps go along with it. Still disappointing we cannot see anything sustained cold wise in the LR.
  9. Euro has part one of that scenario and leaves the front behind for part two but nothing ever evolves. Otherwise similar depictions up to that point.
  10. Have to give the Euro a ticket to ride the train.
  11. Jan 2/3 still in play. This is the real threat upcoming, IMO. SER is relaxed enough to allow something to come just to PA's west (dump to ending in rain) or even possibly under us.
  12. That would make you beating him in tennis even more sweet. Sun's out here now. 50. Shorts and t-shirt for Christmas dinner. The house is warm with all the cooking.
  13. Boom! Congrats on the score! Some extra wind measurements coming in from Marysville.
  14. Feels a lot like NC out, eh? LOL. 44 here this AM. For those not wanting a record, the trends have been good over night. Keeps MDT closer to 60 or under.
  15. 30 min separates 57 and 69 tomorrow on the HRRR. Tomorrow is going to be a record setting day for someone close.
  16. The stuff here is coming to get you tomorrow. It is still 45 now.
  17. 46 and grilling Christmas Eve burgers on the deck.
