Just did a short drive around and drifting it quite bad. I mean its 6-7" of snow so it will not be too bad but roads are drifting over and really in much worse shape that at any point last night. 19 degrees. Cash and some others mentioned this yesterday.
Yea, I fell last year, shoveling the driveway, and was lucky my head sort of missed the impact. I went down backwards just like one would imagine. Anyway, I hope the knee is just sore and not reinjured.
I thought you would have busted into the 7's. To get my 6.5 I had to measure on top up a few elevated surfaces that did not get much wind. I am guessing I only got 2" or so after going to sleep. Most of the damage was before 11.
6.5" here but only 2-3" on the driveway. I do not melt down but guessing I was doing 7 or 8-1 at the start and finished up with powder in the 13-1 or 15-1 range. Ratios definitely kept totals down here as over half of the snow was in the 8-1 period (my estimate).
The thing that stood out to me, about Sunday, was the Nam showing real cad down into central VA. For me personally I need that to get Frz here. A big buffer. Won't sully up the boards doing a good snow storm with talking about it much more.
Back to mod snow again. Lost all accums on hard surfaces. Psu Just posted a radar showing rain over a large chunk of the M/D line. Just love me these lows to my south west. Not. More fun coming soon though.
Several of the models had snow coming in then flashed green for a panel in Franklin county around this time. It will surely turn to snow when the rates come back. It is a heavy drizzle and the warm 2M temps are melting some of it.
So do not shoot the messenger but it is raining here with some random fatties in between. I walked outside and verified it. This possibility was on some of the models. It will probably not affect many. But the roads have cleared off. 31 degrees. Obviously ratio wise we are below 10-1 right now.
