  1. If not windy it should not be too bad. James Harden's chin will surely stay warm.
  2. The Euro had MDT 2PM temps of 52 on Sat and 46 on Sunday. Scattered rain, snow and mixed precip throughout the area both days. Very similar to that very wintery weekend two weekends ago except a little less windy. Accums relegated to western portions of the LSV.
  3. Would not be surprised if some in the LSV see flakes (or graupel) on Saturday...along with the rain showers. Whether capital of Enola or Capital of Harrisburg. LOL
  4. Night time lows near freezing and current GFS highs are mid to upper 40's Sat and Mid 40's on Sunday (LSV). Saturday in particular looks a lot like one of those days where it could rain or snow at anytime (no accums). Temperatures will be significantly below normal for the weekend, but will rebound early next week as upper trough lifts out and a ridge build in. Monday could be a transition day with surface ridge directly over the area, then expect warm springtime temperatures by Tuesday, as the high pushes off the coast and a return southwest flow ensues.
  5. It may be tough to get the mower started this weekend. My old boy does not like anything under 55. Would require startup spray or some gas behind the plug.
  6. The freezing (or close) weather coming this weekend will not promote too much growth either. I bet I do mow before Easter though. When that warm weather comes next week.
  7. The question is, will you have to mow before either holiday? It is possible some of us get 1/2 way through spring with no mows.
  8. Which Easter? PAweather Easter still looks good for flakes in the air. The cold for the other Easter is not looking as impressive.
  9. Wow, we got to 52 over here. You started off way below me.
  10. You are living in the tropics of PA. You probably have banana trees in your backyard? My yard person actually came over yesterday as I complained my yard was not very green despite the treatment. He said its going to be a bad grass Spring over our way. No trees budding yet, no cherry blossoms until just this weekend, etc.
  11. Also, finally seeing some green in my grass and some trees starting to show life. Blizz is the green grass expert. By far the latest I have gone into spring with no mowing yet. Spring is over 1/3 over. Not sure I have ever punted half of spring but it is getting there.
  12. MDT getting down to or near freezing for 3 days coming up might whet his palette.
  13. Did anyone ever consider that MU might have been referring to Kansus winning the NCAA for the MU KU?
  14. I totally got your drift. If the GFS was showing 80's then back into the upper 60's I would say that could be called Sustained warmth but it has been showing another bulge in the jet stream and a coldish post Easter (for April Standards).
  15. May hit 80 early next week....sustained? Eh, not sure about that. PS-I noticed some of the Spring Flingers in the MA are moaning. One of these years they will stop spring flinging in mid-Feb and avoid the curse that have set onto themselves. LOL
  16. The GFS does have a mini heat wave next week before the cold comes back in. Something to look forward to if wanting to get out. Finally breaks 60 on April 11th.
  17. Only up one degree here so far....42. My heating oil supplier is planning extra vacations off this weather.
  18. Looks like sustained 12-18 with gust to near 30 both Sat and Sun. (GFS forecast)
  19. I hope if it comes it is with little wind. April 9th and 10th look a lot like the previous weekend (not last weekend) state wide snows for 3-4 days Windy (unfortunately) with constant rain or snow showers coming in from the West.
  20. Still think we see snow flakes on PAweather Easter as well. Not accumulating.
