You are closing on on Cap City which is 76 still. I did not have a horse in the race for 80 today as I did not think it would get this warm today. Yesterday an 80 seemed real possible and CXY did not disappoint. LOL

Yea, GFS has a string of 3-4 70's days next week then back down a bit. Slightly above seasonal overall.

There is not a cloud in the sky here. 68. So we have 70's in the bag. CXY still running away at 76.

CXY is 7 degrees ahead of where they were yesterday at this time. 63 already. Looks like CSGS has cleared Blizz for now. Still a D0 not too far to his north.

Yea, they keep saying analytics suggests you go for it on 4th and 3 on your own 35 in the first quarter. LOL. I do see the plus side of trying it but it is indeed not conventional. And I totally agree with you that Russ looks bad...and look at Justin Fields in Chicago. Uggg

A lot of bad stuff...coaching and playing. The real kicker is that most people on the field make more $$$ in a year than most American make in a lifetime. Lots of very questionable QB's starting right now.

That is how I am looking at it. These next two weeks are going to have some nice days to enjoy before we eventually get cold. Too early for cold yet and it is not 90's so that is good.

44 here. A bit chilly but not too bad. Just made it to 70 yesterday but think we go higher here today.

Check out this beefy cold front coming through Thursday night and Friday AM. First "big boy" front of the season IMO. After 3 days in the 70's it means business (progged). it is 64ish at MDT at 2AM Friday morning and in the mid 40's by 8AM. CMC not having any of it and has 5 days of 70+ and keeps the trough well north of us.

Looks like MDT only made 73-74 today. Quite a few 80's on the Wundermap around 3PM. CXY up to 81!! Looking at the 18Z models we could have more 75-80's tomorrow.

Cxy may have hit 80. They have been stuck on 79 for quite some time.

@paweather, the fantasy land of the GFS is colder than a witches ice box (euphemism?). Hard freeze. So you can lean on that for now.

Bonus nooners and it is still only 66 here, Gotta love Cap City though already at 75. LOL. I should have picked them as the 80 candidate.

I think it is still too early for it to be as cold as the last few days were. Next week is shaping up to be warmer than normal several days and could have one of those 80 days in there but its not crazy warm. There are one or two lows in the 60's on the GFS for parts of the LSV. That is a bit more extreme easily into double digit departures.

GFS has some of us right back into the low 70's on Mon (extrapolated from the 2PM readings seen on the TT version of the model). Icon lower in the mid and upper 60's. Really wish all the 70's (and potential 70's) would be on the weekend instead of work time. Chamber weather. Give us a nice send off into winter.

Models keep delaying the front tomorrow so might get some mid 70's feelings tomorrow as well.

Already a few mid 70's (73-76) reports on the Wundermap. Wet ground or no wet ground.

You were not kidding when you said you may make a run for 80. Not sure you make it but that is quite warm. Early nooners here are Sunny and 63.

Sort of strange. I guess there is a reason but I know lots of families come loaded with big family size tents when they go to the beach. Were you at any point worried since the water was up over your bottom stair? Not that you should have been but still, when you are in the thick of it...
