65 and light rain. NWS AFD touting the Max Min record but have to wait until Midnight to put that one in the books. Does MDT reach 80 today?

It was like watching young legs vs. Old legs. 3rd goal was terrible starting with kuzy taking 3 d-men that somehow turned into a 3-1 break the other way.

HRRR gets MDT down to 65 which would break the highest Max Min in Nov history if it played out and did not go below by 11:59 tomorrow night. It is Nov and have to keep the windows closed or the house will get too warm. And CXY....saved by an off min jump to 80.

Looks like CXY may have topped at 79. That makes me sad. Although HRRR says they get 80 tomorrow.

Interesting that NWS keeps mentioning the NAM MOS for suggesting temps will only rise 7-9 degrees on a strongly advective S/W wind. However. the latest NAM OP guidance jumped ship and changed the high at MDT from 66 to 73. Even with a mostly cloudy day (which is also questionable) I think temps rise 12-15 degrees from their current position. If we do get quite a bit of sun, then 80's are possible. Monday keeps looking less and less record setting though. Euro has in the 40's late next weekend.

We did get down to 56 before the wind and clouds picked up not long after midnight. This is your kind of weather....enjoy!

@paweather Starting 8 days from now the GFS is still real fall weather. Not winter but fall....7 days from now is the last warm day on the suite. Red November.

I went looking for where the NWS was getting the more cloudy type forecast tomorrow and I see it on the NAM. Not much else. So, interesting to see what happens.

I would very surprised if you stay below 75 tomorrow. I do not think they had CXY or MDT in the 70's any day this week yet..... Still expect at least one CXY 80.

It shows a chill down mid week then a short warm period this time next week (well into the 70's) followed by more fall/early winter like temps....but some of the non op members and other models are starting to wane a slight but on the depth of the cold for later Nov re: not snow worthy.

Wonder how that bodes for the next 3 days. If we get an official station above 85 that is a once in a lifetime type experience (at least up to this point). And the possibility of lows in the 70's. Crazytime.
