    Approximate inversion line...most temps below it are in the upper 50's and low 60's. Just jumped to 61 here.

    LOL. Traffic Tower Controller Blizz decided to let you cool down last night. 60's in Adams county right now so the flight path must be swooping up from there.

    CXY got into the low 50's around midnight then dipped into the mid 40's this AM. It has been a roller coaster.

    53 here this AM. MDT only at 43 though they did hit 50 overnight (high so far today after midnight is 48.) GFS looks like the CMC now for this weekend...a sloppy push of snow, mix and rain late Sunday. CMC still mostly snow though. It is 60 just to my East in Adams county. Nam extended would suggest snow breaks out in the LSV Saturday PM.

    Have not had much time to pay attention but the HRRR and RGEM suggests CXY is on a 70 watch for tomorrow. The record at MDT is 68 in the year 2000.

    It has already been down to 43 today at MDT so that will probably be the low for today (the record is 47 so already beat that) ....the record high low tomorrow is 57. That may be in play though the HRRR has MDT getting down to 55 tomorrow AM.

    Euro looked more like the CMC with the single wave affecting us, late weekend early next week, but did not agree that the column would be cool enough for snow as well as minoring out the system as it moves across PA while transferring to the SE coast on its way OTS.

    Yea, it is above freezing from 750 to 800 and down but apparently not enough to melt the snow per this one predict.

    The CMC shows a slightly more substantial system for the LSV but it is Sun Night into Monday on timing. Temps are very marginal.

    I am a bit down about little snow in Dec( again). Snow Dec 15-30th is bully in my book.

    We are going to Harpers Ferry tomorrow and it WILL be a shorts day.

    I was just outside with the extendable pruner cutting down some low hanging branches....sweating. Not promoting this weather either, just reporting ob's. The zones and progs I saw were 5-10 too low today.
