You and I had a very similar experience. I am going with 2" here but that is a close estimate. The rain and mid 30's have washed it away. Seems like we were on the wrong side of South Mountain for this one.

Mother nature shoveled for me. LOL. Still a little slush but staying near or above freezing tonight so no issue there.

I did not melt down my snow, but we have picked up about 1/3" of plain rain now. 72 hour estimated shows this area getting a tad over 1/2" of precip total.

Interesting as that is yet another late nod to the last 12-24 hour Rgem for the LSV at least. Had lesser amount for you than the south LSV where many got 2-3". The Kuch was way too low...10-1 was a better indicator despite the questionable temps. A meso picking up a meso level event across part of south PA.

Yep. We looked to be getting dryslotted but it is pouring rain right....I realize I am the most southern member of the board so no surprise there but the end of the precip looked to be moving in faster a bit earlier. 36 degrees.

Congrats to you for sticking with the GFS on this one...for the snow coverage area.

It is good for the GFS to get back into the good side after a lot of hate thrown toward it recently.

Going with 2" final here...actually some light rain and 35 at the moment. Impressive part for me is of the 2", the roads had a good 1.5" on!

Oh, if comparing to other models then I totally understand. I thought people may have been saying GFS nailed it while the GFS seemed high. Nam did really poorly, RGEM did poorly until the end, the HRRR was too warm in thermals, etc. I thought the GFS has large 4-6" areas near Harrisburg.

Surely,, but a bit surprised it made it that far north when I am still snowing here....though it has stopped now as the dryslot has pulled in. The rgem had a blotchy precip map like that last night. I am not so keen on giving the GFS too much credit. It had 5" over MDT last evening.

Interesting sleet up into Harrisburg now. Hard to forecast situations like this sometimes. I am used to changing fast when a low is to my west but Harrisburg surprises me.

Someone I just read said we may be stuck in a bad pattern for 30-40 years. Uh oh. LOL

Sometimes I am in a prime spot. There was one last year (I think) where I got over 20" and Cashtown was nowhere near that total despite being so close.

They are definitely covered here. it came down fast for a good 45 min here. I think we missed a band that may have been better directed east of us. And like I said, the sleet. I think @Chris78 had similar totals as me. I do not use a snow board so not a professional measurement but about 1 1/2". Not 2"

We have started some light snow again. Temp up to 33.

I just took this pic outside. Grass is below 2" long but did not do an exact measurement on it. Still not covered. Only about 1" on the lights as well. It is just lightly sleeting here still.

We are definitely up near 1 1/2 I believe but not 3" for sure.

It has stopped snowing all together right now...just light sleet. Waynesboro is about 10-15 min from here.

I started like gangbusters but seeing the sleet mixing in a bit here. Did not notice it until about 10 min ago. Still looks great out, all the roads I can see from my house are caved. Getting over 1" is a positive.

Yea, I edited it a bit. Still quite impressive. I think the sleet here is holding me back a bit.
