  1. We are getting snow mixing in now. All snow up on Blue Ridge Summit at one point this AM. Still no accums and I doubt there will be any. 35 degrees. Radar showing as such in some areas. That northern mix area is near our favorite Adams County Coop.
  2. Yea, seemed like 6/11 was the new 5/12 until last night.
  3. Potted plant Warning tonight and Watches are up for Monday and Tue Am. The headline punctuates the risk of spring flinging family members prematurely rolling out assorted plantae. Tonight, could have wind chills approaching 0 in some colder LSV areas. Middle of winter like weather in late March is not ideal without snow.
  4. I am at 90% of all brackets on my bracket on ESPN right now. I had not picked Auburn or UK to get to the Elite 8 so still looking decent. Not going SEC heavy has helped my long-range outlook so far. 23-9 the first round. Grand Canyon was my big stretch pick that pulled through.
  5. 34 here. Snow reports in Cumberland and upper Dauphin County over the last 4 or so hours. No accums of course. Sim radar has mix or snow in Tamaqua. Outside the Nam, the models this AM are not really flood looks for the Capital Beltway area and West. More toward Chesco and East for the heavy rains. Some are less than 1" at MDT. 0Z GFS still close to some late March snow showing snow mixed on the western side of the shield next weekend (again, apologies to opening day, not trying to be selfish.)
  6. Some of the Meso's have the rain out near or shortly after lunch.... hopeful on that. (And I mean the LSV, out before lunch over here).
  7. Good news for opening day on the GFS and Icon.
  8. As predicted by a few, MDT's average temp for March is taking a fast dive with the colder days upon us...even a low AN day makes this average go down since it was so high. MDT is currently tied for 7th but will probably drop to 12th or 13th by the time the weekend is over. LR models do not suggest there will be the needed heat to see March make a run back toward the top. Of interest in this chart is the absence of great amounts of 2000's years like a lot of the other climate charts we see. Less than half these numbers are since 2000.
  9. We now have sustained winds of 15-20 withs gusts of 25 at a temp of 30. Wind chill 15-18 degrees.
  10. They have a flood watch up now, so the first requirement is met...a flood watch that does not verify. We shall see.
  11. They do seem to be in the cross hairs on models. If they get it again next week at this time, they are going to have some flooding concerns.
  12. With apologies to opening day, like tonight, another very close call for a snow next weekend on the GFS. Low deepening and the paweather 540 line being pulled south.
  13. 24 here. 5 warmer than yesterday. The bird feeder never unfroze yesterday....first time since returning to PA that the bird are limited on water in later March.
  14. Turnovers, missed dunks and layups. Sec having a bad day.
  15. Those kinds of differences would drive me nuts if playing.
