What a weenie Euro run. Lol.

That presentation is the difference between 5” and 12” plus somewhere. Fun to track!

Wait, is this a week away? The anticipation in this discussion made me think this wasn't on the periphery of model accuracy.
In fairness the overrunning Snow could start late Saturday...

I lived in Jersey City for 25 yrs and it was expected, mixing and what not but not up here. When it happens, it hurts even more but bbn I've been here for 15yrs so ur attitude should start to change at about 10yrs or so, lol!

Maybe so - but I’m watching the sky go to a thunderstorm look that I know contains snow and where I come from - that’s still so bada$$!!!

Ended up close to 5" total, lol, what a colossal bust but this was a toughie to bbn forecast for sure and the model that I'll never look at again is the RGEM, horrific for days, it better stick to me so that's for sure!!

Having grown up on the Jersey short and lived in Philly and NW NJ before moving up here, it’s almost hard for me to ever complain!!

The new 3KM shows one heck of a lake effect band. That could drop 3-5” easily if it parks for any duration!

It's not much different up here. The "good" news is we get way more chances to have Lucy take the football away up here, as compared to i-95'ers.
OTOH, lake effect (fake snow BTW) takes the sting out of the soul crushing nonsense. Until it fails us too, which it will given time.
I’ve been here two winters and seen over 100” both years - so I will never complain!!!
great to be on a board with local folks. It’s tough to find a dedicated place not concentrated on the major metro areas.

The surprise 5" I got a few days ago was 10 times better than this, lol, and that was pure LE!
See my above comment. Lol.

So, are the HRRR and RAP going to be correct?
If so, Syracuse folks you can thank me for the crappy winter coming...………………………………………………..
I think we get hit hard in the morning hours and top off with a couple to few lake enhanced inches. 7 or 8” seems about right.

Measured 0.04" liquid past 24 hrs and a Trace of snowfall overnight, which is maybe a good sign. No model had this being snow so early, here.

We are snowing here too. Coating on some surfaces.
I believe the Tanzanian nailed this part.
