One piece of good news is that Cleveland is currently reporting snow. They had a brief period of ZR but went back to snow quickly. Have to watch Erie to see if the same scenario plays out there too.
Today will be a case of the heavier the precip the more snow and tasting the taint will be critical.
let’s go!- 1

Apparently several of you Syracuse area guys are excited about this possibility. You better hope it doesn't rain. I'm holding you to it.
I will be there with balls on!

Just go with KBGM's 90% probability map. It's usually closer to reality this season. They have us flipping to rain/snow mix Saturday night. The warm tongue will not be denied. pencil in 4-5" total. Might get an extra inch or two of LES scraps but that's usually a crapshoot here.
I feel like the lake enhanced and LES has been underestimated- as we are getting closer the models seem to be picking up on it. Could be 3” of scraps.

NWS is talking 8-1 SLR with 4-1SLR near the mix line..It's not until after the CF moves through that ratios improve..
Really? Hard to buy given what this moisture is slamming into. Would have thought high to low to high again on the back side.

When we were looking in the area, I REALLY liked Cazenovia/Pompey area. But Caz and your town are too expensive for me. Beautiful areas. Bville isn't much cheaper in the housing market, but I work here, so it's a much shorter and relaxing commute.
Seems like average snowfall probably cuts off pretty sharply between Auburn, Seneca Falls, and Geneva.
B’ville is great too and a short commute is unbeatable. I work from home or else this wouldn’t be possible.
I go up to Beaver Lake all the time to hike. Love that place!! What a gem!

Boy, am I glad i did not move to the Finger Lakes...Wow, what a snow screw zone.
18Z GFS looks sliiiiightly better for No Onondaga county...but man, Geneva, Dansville, etc. look to barely get anything.
Ripping here in Skaneateles. The central finger lakes are basically a valley that succumbs to shadowing a lot too.
I did my research!! We get it good here!
