  5. Ya dude I got 5 in nov..and 12 from a January storm and then squeezed out 13 more inches lol
  6. Yep we wasted opportunities. Boston has one of their snowiest Decembers and we got jack. Weve had 6 weeks of decent cold anomalies . And everytime we needed one Break in our favor we broke the other way. Last winter I got 30 inches lol and it was still painful
  7. I like how one run of 18z gefs goes bad...when 6z 12z were good and eveyone gives us. Bob was pointing out how great the 12z was like 5 minutes ago [emoji849]
  8. Gefs looks good...euro still nothing to get excited about
  9. yep..waste of 2 cold months. +1 in DCA is actually a cold month now in our new world
  10. +EPO, trough in west-PNA....+AO and +NAO...other than that...its workable
  11. i remember the Feb 2006 big snowstorm. The Euro and GFS showed it 7-8 days out and lost it...and then the JMA sniffed out 3 days out and we thought it was full of bunk till the euro ad GFS then agreed on their next run. But we dont see stuff like that happen much anymore. Now once models lose it....its pretty much a lost cause
  12. i see nothing to get excited about.....our shutout pattern looks to be about 2 weeks and then there is no guarantee of it even being that short. It will be like chasing a mirage. Still..at least we had a few events in December to get me to 1 inch but as usual, we will finished Dec below normal snow.
  13. hopefully we are chasing something on christmas for early Jan but this is looking like a 2000-2001 40N winter with cold air and near misses
  14. looks like all the good precip now is south of us and we are missing out:(
  15. Streets caved...so did lcps. Timing of heavy was good for schook closure
  16. It actually has Loudoun still frozen at 18z which wasnt the case before
  17. That's the most believable solution I've seen yet
