@psuhoffman is the best poster...not in the Mid Atlantic Sub Forum but the entire Board. His combination of ridiculous meteorology knowledge and his ability to teach it where its understandable(hello isotherm/HM) and then his sense of humor to boot. And i dont say this lightly because Bob Chill is easily in the top 5 on the board. We are pretty lucky to have what we have here....the philly board has Ralph Wiggum lol:)

I remember pd2003 was also modeled as a rain storm initially and that is what howard(weather53) and keith allen had predicted. Maybe that's why howie hates models so much

i think they are using "differences" model maps to justify their take that they are going for a Feb. they have already busted bad this winter and is trying to save face. The maps they show arent as bad as the EPS runs were.

yea i dont care about snow on the ground. I like the actual event and the pre event. Once that storm is over..its depressing. I really only like snow when its falling and the day after a snowstorm when its still pure and the trees snow hasnt been blown away. . after that..i could care less about it

it didnt spit out that much snow lol...nobody was thinking more than 2-4....but we wanted 2-4---thats a blizzard this year. I dont think 2-4 into a big Fat CAD high was too much to ask for with temps in the 20s....i mean its not like we lost a Winter storm warning snow event but in this winter...losing 2-4 hurts. even losing 2 hurts

i think we get 3 or 4 good days a year of winter precip. Basically getting a good day of snow is the equivilant of waiting for Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas and New Years. Just absurd how much we suck at snow...even where you live...you suck too. Euro 10 day looks good lol
