    Difference is we're usually on the fringe of rain/mix/snow that far ahead (8-10 days). This map is all snow for the entire area and further S which give me a little bit more optimism... 41F/Mostly cloudy

    We really wouldn't have to travel far for the Wed event, Scranton and such. It may come down to traveling for any of us to see a "decent storm, 3-6"+" this winter. I never traveled to see snow but this may be the year... 34F/Cloudy 8:14pm, Birds ready to start!

    The sun is overrated. Creates crows feet from squinting, UV rays form premature wrinkles/cancer and it sucks driving into the sun's rays early in the morning (My Rt 422 days) Clouds are my new best friend. Add some cold w/them, great football weather (today) and once in a blue moon they can actually produce snow. More clouds tomorrow and Monday...can't wait! 37F/Cloudy

    Watching the Buf/Mia game in Buf on 1/15 and the high is 30F/balmy (26F now) w/light winds during peak cold time of year. That's how I know something is not right. Easily could be single digits/below zero...

    By the end of the month length of daylight really starts increasing. 2+min per day...pretty much 15min/week.

    The news keeps getting better...lol. The replies in the tweet take 2 sides. Weenies hoping he's wrong/bust and people relieved their heating bills will be lower. The true die hards are the weenies who cares less about heating bills and want winter weather...God bless them. 33F/super sunny

    Had a couple gust that made my windows whistle. Not 40mph but pretty sure 25+mph. I can tell it's windy because my digital antenna is fading in/out at times.     I made it a point to vacuum the car and change the oil/filter today just to be outside and feel the elements and possible stray flake. Although no snow this is at least something wintry. Games start at 4:30pm...Bird fans should really be rooting for Seattle although I think they have little chance. 30F/DP 20F/Cloudy, projected low low tonight 26F

    I was outside and there were a couple misguided flakes. Non weenie people wouldn't have noticed. My windows have dried up rain spots and it's difficult to spot a stray flurry. Then again, a grown man shouldn't be looking for a stray flurry. Mother nature treating NJ well. Gives them legal weed AND some decent flurries. This area must have something on the ground. It's been hanging there for the past 2 hours w/ decent intensity at times
