  1. All the "public" schools near me had A/C grades 1-12 and schooling was free. Me, "catholic" school grades 1-12 never had A/C once and we paid for schooling. Something not right there... 77F/DP 51
  2. Philly schools getting out 2 hours early tomorrow due to "heat", dangerous conditions...lol. 87F/DP 52F....predicted low tonight 55F.
  3. Screw it, I would let it go. Money/water/sewage and the upkeep isn't worth it only to keep getting fried. I miss T-Storms... 73F/DP 46F
  4. BBQ-ing....77F/low DPs...really couldn't ask for much more.
  5. Yeah...I haven't mowed in over a week and thinking if I do it's going to get burnt/fried. It was growing like crazy for a while there...not now.
  6. Definitely pricey...think I had a surf and turf there for like $100...lol. Cool place though...
  7. Stuff falling...not great but I'll take it. Did trout fishing in the 90's at the French Creek...cool times. What was that restaurant place up there....Seven Stars?
  8. Ground is starting to get yellow/crunchy. Neighbor (Old ...no real maintenance and it's looking bad) Tell family members to wear heavy duty footwear walking on grass....it's a bitch sometimes, get shocked left and right. The DP/Hum for this time of year is damn low along w/no precip...and some winds.
  9. Definitively took a turn for the worse....was mowing every 4-5 days, now 7?
  10. Yep. I BBQ'ed/fire-pit quite often and really haven't been bit. Also noticed more crickets(critters) this early. Pretty sure Gordon Lightfoot passing has something to do with this... That DP/Hum is unreal...
  11. I have a stubborn cricket outside my recliner chair window which overall I don't mind. And had a stink bug clinging to the window shades who no longer exist. 51F/...going into the 40s. DP 41F
  12. Definitely some smoke haze out there....usually makes for a cool looking sunset. 74F/DP 51F
  13. How large is the barrel? 55gal or larger? My friend has a 300gal bin he uses for garden/grass/outside stuff. All I can say is it fills up pretty quick w/a T-storm. Problem is we are lacking that this Spring and really nothing in the near future. If this was a normal Spring your barrel would probably be full. Rain just about done, enough to wet the streets.
  14. Yeah, this blob is shrinking as it moves E...I may not see a drop, pathetic.
  15. It looks a little better than I thought as it approaches but could fizzle, DP 64F. Certainly not a drought buster but should be enough to water the grass and rinse off the car.
  16. Some spotty scattered stuff swinging east but that's about it. The only good it will really do maybe is rinse the pollen off the car... 68F/DP 64F
  17. I remember each time coming home from the NJ shore and picking up corn and tomatoes from a local farmer. Best damn corn and tomatoes. Forget how much the tomatoes were but corn was 10 ears/$1. I shop at produce junction now (cheapest around) and 5 ears cost $3 and not half as good and small. Walmart wanted $3.69 for 4 ears....WTF? 67F/Cloudy...only had a coating of rain w/some mist.
  18. I weigh the HHH uncomfortable crap/ against the dry cool non T storm stuff...but in the end I like this pattern. Stuff will change, still have the flannel on/windows open/50s and it's May/fire-pit/BBQs...not bad.
  19. 55F/DP 51F Think I BBQ'ed/fire-pit more times so far in May than I can remember...Fall in Spring.
