6abc at noon, 2756 lightning strikes this morning in/around Philly. I had a couple "grenade" type thunder soundings as well. Pretty cool....neighbors dogs barking apeshit nuts.
May make a race toward 90F this Friday before we cool off for the weekend. Still hoping to get through June w/o a 90F temp.
This afternoon/evening was lame...pretty much nothing. I'm getting a shower at 10:15pm which will move out quickly and nothing behind.
72F/DP 67F A shower...
Hit or miss with showers/storms around. You can't really tell. Look at the radar tomorrow morning will give you a better idea but storms can form rather fast. If you already have tickets nothing you can really do but go. Who knows they may call the game beforehand?
Looks like cloudy/cool for the rest of the day/evening w/overnight lows in the 50s, not bad. Showers/Storms tomorrow with highs low-mid 70s. I'm down w/anything to avoid the heat...
71F/Cloudy
This would be welcomed. However, I could easily see this summer coming back w/vengeance and torching us for days on end in July/Aug/Sept? Hope not...
72F/Light mist
Let's hope not.
Problem being Summer runs right through Sept these days where as growing up Summer would start to wind down once Sept hits/back to school. Long way to go to talk about "coolest summer"......
Any shot making it through June w/o a 90F+ high in some of our local locations? I think my last 90+ was May 31st. Looking ahead the next week+ I'm not really seeing a blowtorch...

^ If so, it was super small and touched down for a small amount of time. From what I saw just now (NBC10/aerial) it only affected 4-6 properties and mainly trees and not houses. Maybe they didn't show/or know about anything else but it looked minor.
