    47mph wind gust reported in the MA subforum. Think I reached a 30-40mph range so far. Temps keep dropping, down to 20F. Can't imagine taking a stroll late this evening w/the temps and winds. Coldest in a while...

    We had 60s the day before storms and it stuck the next day. I agree it's tough but it didn't even try to stick, back roads, parking lots. It was coming done hard also. I was expecting a little something...not right way but something.

    Pretty much. It will only be a problem at intersections where the snow melted and created a puddle then froze.

    I always count on half what they predict. I have a small layer on the grass/rooftop/car top but at least it's windy and cold the next few days so that's good... 24F...you can just hear the cold air rolling in. Forecast low tonight 7F. w/winds. Nice!

    It's pretty sad. However, I shovel for the exercise and a beer in the garage when I'm done listening to Floyd/Zeppelin.

    I mean we are in late Dec and snow can't stick to the roads? Actually anything besides grass and car tops. Before you know it March is here. Hate to sound like a Debbie Downer but we can't catch a break. A 3"-6"/4"-8" storm seems like miles away... 24F

    I think the problem will be flash freeze and wind. Once the cold crashes and the melting snow on the roads, it will freeze. And wind, power outages. 33F/snow
