Open 5-9pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and Saturdays from 4-9pm. Adding Sundays soon from 1-7pm. Half capacity for all these days. Still cans/growlers to go as well.
-
Let me know how that is. I've been contemplating a "pie" version of the fruited sour w/lactose.
-
Found out we can open at half capacity on the 21st. Not sure if I want to or not, got some time to ponder I suppose.

Its a barrel aged pale/strong ale. Basically we put our non-dryhopped Big Boy Pants in a Buffalo Trace barrel for 6 months. Much more complexity than I was anticipating. Very strong, a nice sipper.
-
I had a good time too, hope you make it back again soon. I forgot to get you a Big Barrel Pants can and ran down the street to try to catch you as you were leaving Siriannis. Just missed you, but got some good exercise out of it lol.

I love the JREAM series. We now brew a series/style based upon that series from Burley Oak. I had a few versions on our trip to OC last summer and decided immediately that we have to have that style. Tart but balanced by the sweetness of fruit. Ours is called Smoot Eez. Right now we have a Blackberry/Cranberry version and a Blueberry Strawberry version on tap. Brewing a Pink Guava/Passionfruit one next week in anticipation of warmer weather finally arriving. This style has a huge following and are enjoyed by many who don't enjoy "beer" flavor. I'm surprised how many hop heads have also adopted this as a go to beer, especially when they are trying to hit something with a low abv. Your carrot cake one looks great. They know what they are doing over there. Enjoy!

NWBaltimoreWX showed up and got me buzzed today. Good times.

Reporting 2.6" as of 9pm, so we will fortunately avoid the embarrassment of posting sub 100" for at least another season

Hopefully better skiing winters to come. The last two have been horrible so we're due. You should try coming out this way in the summer. We're actually as busy or busier than ski season during summer for hikers/bikers enjoying the cool average July high temp of 78 degrees. October is the busiest month of the year because of fall foliage. We don't normally get May snow chasers though.
-
Nice. Say hi if you are able to make it back. Hope we eventually get back to the packed days of past.
-
My wife owns it. I service her.
-
We're open 2pm to 5pm, no need to order ahead, just show up. Best not to be right at 2pm, that's when its usually busiest. I don't normally work sales on Saturday's, but was planning to be there for a while tomorrow. Around 3pm would be a good time.
-
What time are you going to be here? I can make sure I'm around. We've got our Blackberry/Cranberry kettle sour still available in cans. Snowing still.
-
Snow is just a hassle anyway. I've had to clear snow off my Direct TV twice in the last hour. Not sure why anyone likes this stuff.

I'm drinking my first beer in about a week. Stumptown Ales Sassy Mojo double ipa. My beer drinking has gone way down the last 6 months, I'm a lightweight now. But I've lost almost 25 pounds (along with eating really well and exercising like a mofo)

Thanks. Just read the last several pages in their thread and thought it was going pretty well. Too bad its mostly people I'm not familiar with. Wish our sub-forum could have handled it. I understand that those types of conversations are not for everyone, and there is no way to eliminate some political and personal biases on the topic; but its a thread that you don't have to click on if it bothers you. I guess I just never understood calls to close threads. Its not like they are forced upon anyone, and if they aren't getting any value by reading it anymore or are offended by the tone, then there is a simple solution for them. But closing a thread cuts off an avenue of discussion for those who did get some value out of it.

We need to squeeze 2 more inches out to get to triple digits for the season. Haven't had one below 100" since 01-02. Snowed for hours yesterday, but didn't accumulate here. Looks like we have one more shot at snow on Monday.
-
This place is dead with the Covid thread gone. I know it got a little testy in there at times, but I found the conversation to be interesting. Getting the insight from all sides of people I feel like I know from this subforum was fun. Even if I didn't agree. Too bad we weren't able to continue.

I have a photo framed on the wall of my pub showing the snow that accumulated on the ridges in the area from a snowfall on May 21, 2002. Getting close to June at that point. Of course that was on the back end of an infamous horrible winter.
-
Looks like we have snow chances on both Wednesday and Saturday. So if you come, dress warmly. We probably won't have the sours in cans left, but should have some still available for growler fills. So consider bringing a growler in case you want something that is not on the can list.
-
I think my wife updates what is for sale on Facebook (not sure though). But since the pub isn't open we pretty much can a good amount of every beer we have until it runs out. We will be canning Holy Citra!, Big Boy Pants, Multiple Hopgasms, Sassy Mojo, Cave Dweller, Bewildered Hippie this week for sure (a couple of those might not be available for our Wednesday sale, but certainly by Saturday). We'll have a little bit of our fruited kettle sours (Smooth Eez -- we have a blackberry/cranberry and a blueberry strawberry) but those have been real popular and I think we're down to our last keg or so of each so those may be gone. We also have some cans of our Big Barrel Pants (pale ale aged in Buffalo Trace barrels) and maybe even some of our Victor Trace (Russian Imperial Stout aged in Buffalo Trace barrels -- although those might not quite make this week's list). We're hoping we'll be open in a few weeks, not much Covid out here. But I imagine we will keep canning like we are now as we anticipate a huge amount of take out orders even when the pub is technically back open.
-
Yep, we can like crazy now on our little canning machine and sell those to go (along with growler fills) on Wednesday evenings and Saturday afternoons.
-
Geez, looks like a solid week of cold temps and a couple bouts of snow out here. The weather is making stay at home much easier.
-
I liked it better when she (you) was Russian.
