We don't have any active cases in our entire county, and none of the counties surrounding us has had more than a dozen cases total. So in our little bubble we are feeling pretty comfortable. But our locals are very concerned about opening back up and the flood of DC area tourists coming out here to escape again. Some locals are even uptight about the DC area folks who have second homes here, which they have used to escape to (I don't blame them). No matter how comfortable you are in your own bubble, it can quickly pop.

Yes, I think he is considering giving those counties back to Virginia.

Our WV Governor is hinting that opening up things such as restaurants may only be a couple of weeks away here.

You'll have to go out further than 5/5 to get a feel for how well things went in Georgia. At least a month IMO. There is a pretty big lag with infections and eventual hospitalization/deaths that won't rear its head until (and if) enough time has lapsed to see what verifies.

GFS hinting at a pretty nice upslope snow in the mountains Sunday/Monday. Does EURO support this as well? I can't tell by the maps I look at.

Flakes starting to come down now. Not really sure what to expect from this one.

Snowed in town here almost all night, but it was mostly snow TV since it was so warm. Maybe got a little over a half inch on the elevated surfaces and grass. But just a few hundred feet up just outside of town it accumulated over 4".
