About 3 inches. here.  31F/30 dew.  Snow is the consistency of 4 hour old oatmeal.

Cheer up western NYers, this is what it will look like there too soon.

We skate and play hockey on our section of an 85 acre, fairly shallow beaver pond.

Last evening I drilled holes to flood a section.  We have 4 inches of ice.  And then we hit 8F overnight so at least smaller ponds are in good shape now.

Binghamton afternoon discussion says lights out til at least early next week.

At least the temps are seasonable.

After the depressing Christmas rainstorm wiped out the snowpack we are back to some nice nordic ski conditions here, albeit with a few thin/wet spots.

Happy days are here again!

Outperforming nicely here in central Otsego County.

A couple of inches already.

We popped up above freezing around 0600, and it was 37F last I looked.

About 2 inches of frozen concrete overnight.  I think most of it will remain because we get back below freezing this afternoon.
