There was an event about 5 years ago or so in December .. started as heavy rain in the pre dawn hours. I remember because I was running in it early that morning . It flipped over to heavy , wet snow. We had 6” of pretty solid past nice it flipped over . I believe the lower spots and coasts also flipped but had less . 4-5 years ago or so . I bet you know the event . This reminds me of that . -

HRRR goes wild tonight in CT and southern areas of MA. Has a heavy burst for a few hours near and after midnight . Quick 1-3/2-4”

@CoastalWx This area is ground zero for biggest negative snowfall anomalies in SNE . When BDL has more.. you know it’s a ratter

Mistyped 1.25”.. 11.75” YTD . Sounds like slant

.50 Friday and .75 in the 3 hour period of snow Saturday afternoon/ eve 1.25”

I think this stretch was longer than any last winter. Adding on 1.50” over two days over the weekend helped a bit. I’m thinking maybe the 1-3” tomorrow night also helps. I’m basing this on temps not getting into the 50’s. If that happens then it’s gone faster Pickles pants on Brokeback .

Beginning to think we all keep the pack in SNE. 1-3” tomorrow PM and night, icestorm Wednesday and 30’s - lower 40’s Friday before more snow Sunday into Monday.
