I’m team always shorts, even in winter unless snowing. But yesterday was shorts, t-shirt, hoodie for the evening walk.

As long as arms are covered , shorts are perfect for anything above mid 40’s

Unfortunately, all I can do is live in fantasy land but the Euro and GFS hint at some big severe potential the weekend of June 20th.

Summer is settled in by then . We are close now . Very evident on long range maps

Best hottest Summer ever?  But in all seriousness this even is bad for me

I never thought we’d see the day. Fortunately the end is now in sight. PV finally lifts north next week which means no more HP in E Canada . Western Ridge bridges with SE ridge . Boundary over mid Atlantic sets up in S Canada and we see warmth and some modest fropas . Middle of next week on sees summer setting in for good. Until then one more bad weekend and then it’s over

Ever since The Climate Changer came in here talking about top 5 warmest May (circa 5/15) it has completely gone to shit. This is by far one of the more depressing stretches I can remember. Legit making me sad and angry. It's the weekends that are doing it to me.

Another shut in Washed out Saturday . Perhaps lingering into Father’s Day

  5. Kind of a sneaky dewy day. 62-64 all day here. Spent entire day in yard , pruning all bushes , lawn . Lots of sun this afternoon. Crushed and I mean crushed by mosquitoes especially this morning in the shade and later in the day .

The smoke today was real bad here.

MVL ASOS didn’t get a vis above 5-6sm all day long.  Sure, it’s not as bad as that episode of 1-3sm we all had last summer (or two summers ago?)… but it was an extremely noticeable haze all day obscuring the mountains.

That was 2 summers ago but there’s new fires breaking out daily up there I read . This will last much of summer depending on wind flow

We got some clearing but all that did was cause low level ground fog from the earlier rain.  So we lost the clouds overhead and replaced them with ones in the bottom 30 feet.

That’ll happen tonight here . And then not burn off until 11 tomorrow only to reveal smoke

Feels amazing out! Going to be like this for awhile now..  comfortable days and nights.  The way it should be :)

    Followed by increasing temperatures
aloft Wednesday to Friday, deep mixing to 850mb, and able to tap
into the +13C to +15C. Result are highs in the low to middle 80s.
Dewpoints are elevated leading to humid conditions

Over 2” to my south. But .6” here. After the 5-7” 10 days ago, doing just fine.

1.18 today as it is just about over here. Most fell in about 45 minutes this afternoon. 9.17” in Mayorch . If it didn’t rain until July , I’d be ok with that. But no need to worry . Rain Tuesday and then Saturday/ Sunday

we had one here for about 15 minutes yesterday morning.... Just got power fully restored.     Lots of trees snapped off and laid across power lines making roads into and out of town ...some impassible.   Altho canes don't typically have quarter sized hail and near continuous lightning ... but the roar of the wind was such that not thunder was really audible until the storm was moving and we were looking at CB bum

You were so lucky to get that . Wish we lived there at that moment. What an odd time to get a downburst tstorm so early in the AM
