  1. Sunday and Monday look like 96-99 in normal torch spots. That has west wind over performance written all over it. Then low 90's with dews Tues. Cold front Wed pm and then high dews late week return into following weekend . Very warm pattern shaping up

I don't see the return to heat next weekend as much as I'd want it.

Not 90's. More mid- upper 80's with dews and storms. Def not Coc k look

  3. This concept of window units letting cold air in the house .. we don't follow. You get em in early and take em out in Sept. . Saves on energy, aggravation, sweat and peace of mind. People used heat in June? Now that's laughable . Talk about a waste of energy

    He made that up...

I have seen you post numerous times how in the warm seasons tropical systems and coastal systems trend east the last 24 hours

... "Its coming back to the river.  Don't trust the models, they've had a rough go of it.  I expect by 00z we'll see it start to come west and by 12z tomorrow we will all be in warning snows."

Anyone that follows or understands wx knows in winter storms generally trend NW, but summer patterns are exactly opposite. Will has stated that for many years. Never understood why a few mets and posters here thought this would be a massive hit

Coastal fail for Friday. If this were winter, Kevin would be telling us it's coming back tonight.

Ssshh. Don't tell some folks. They all had a hybrid dumping inches and wind region wide

I'm just looking at the crappy ewall images at 24hr intervals. Looks like the boundary is in CNE based on H85 RH 12z Mon and pushes up into C ME 12z Tue. At this time range that's enough to give me some pause for big heat in my area.

Euro has 90+ in SNE by Sunday

Wiz just saw EML and his ball warmers are working just fine ....

Need to check with Kev to see if installation should occur this weekend

Hard to believe someone hasn't installed yet TBH

GFS is 95F+ in the hot spots next Monday.

Can't wait. Tomorrow is going to be the worst June day of any of our lives. One of those you'd look at if you didn't live through it and wonder how it was possible.

At least we can see deep summer settling in for good, so it makes it semi tolerable

  11. Guidance is now unanimous. Big heat and humidity is coming next week. Looks like an extended period of deep summer. After these next 3 days of 40's and rain,, even the most whacked out cold, summers mongerers will appreciate what's coming

It's possible record low max temps may be averted by temps just after midnight Tuesday and then fall during the day. In June. U40s at ORH by 3pm? Kind of bootleg.

I see a lot of forecastswith highs in the 60's Mon- Wed in CT. It will be closer to 48-53.
