Kind of hard not to get at least a little excited looking at that.

Not sure if this has been posted, but, aerial footage from Mexico Beach, FL a couple of hours ago. Unreal.

Tropical storm warnings just went up for a lot of us. That’s a first. 

Still waiting for that more NE turn. 

This has to be the most insane thing I've ever witnessed live. Sounds like water is getting in the truck now. And batteries are dying.

Yeah. This is the most insane thing I have ever seen. They made a huge mistake leaving the port. 

It has been incredible watching this storm unfold. Seeing some peak wind gusts around 55-60mph here. We'll see. 

Very interested in what Michael is going to do, no doubt... but BEYOND ready for that cooler pattern to take over. 

Real lull here currently near Hendersonville.

Latest HRRR has it headed into northeast Georgia and then drifting south a bit (?) 

Looks like GSP lowered totals west of the escarpment. Odd, considering the model trends. Still up in the air.

Interesting call for "up to 15 inches"... It could go either way really. It's more a now-casting type of thing. We shall see! 

Well, this has certainly been fun to watch unfold... and will continue to be. Will have me well prepared for winter. Expecting anywhere from 2-10 inches of rain here near Mountain Home. We shall see. 

Wild amounts of rain --- It appears that stream coming in from the gulf isn't going to move any time soon... Going to be a wet night.
