  1. This event brings back memories lol. It seems like the R/S line is a thing of the past it needs to come back damn it! I cringe when I hear the words "all snow" on LI cause that usually spells fringe city for us. Lets all embrace the huggers!
  2. Looks like it was clueless lol. Damn what happen to the euro
  3. My next door neighbor is telling me about 5" otg Back home. Meanwhile down here in the carib conditions have deteriorated rapidly. A further review on satellite imagery shows the tropical feed into that monster is literally right on top of us
  4. Most of the island has electricity and cell service. Unfortunately quite a few family members lost everything down here. They are now relocated in CT. Strong winds from Maria look to have been concentrated E of San Juan anywhere from fajardo to humacao. San Juan for the most part looks good
  5. Hopefully the interior cashes in on this event. I'm currently down in PR so no snow for me
  6. Im outside in shorts and a t-shirt and the natives have on heavy jackets w/ boots lol. They look at me like I have something hanging off my head. Todays high was 78°
  7. Hopefully we can get some snow up there. Im down here in south florida right now and the chill is even impressive down here. Im sitting on my balcony right now in North Miami Beach and its a chilly 64°. Thats impressive for this specific location
  8. lol.. Im pretty sure those weren't sub zero readings you read. The - was separating the context from the actual numbers.
  9. It keeps getting snowier and snowier. Both the GFS and RGEM have upped amounts as well. Gonna be a sharp cutoff somewhere near suffern
  10. Euro, GGEM, Ukie, RGEM, GFS & a few other hi-res models have a general consensus for 3-5" throughout our area. Should be a beautiful christmas morning!
  11. BGM has 4-6" throughout Pike/Sullivan Counties, Mt Holly has 4-6" in Sussex & Upton has 2" for Orange county lol.. I like 3-4" with 5" where this squall does its most damage.
  12. The general consensus seems to be 3-5" from 84 northward. 1" or so from Orange/Rockland border to about the TZ bridge
  13. lol.. It was 29° w/ freezing fog last night with absolutely no ice around. I go out to my driveway around 7am and down I went. Assuming no ice is no bueno lol
  14. RGEM looks to be the snowiest of the bunch for 12z. 4-5" for most in O.C while the rest print out a general 3-4". Should be a nice little event regardless
  15. Looks like the threat is real for some Christmas snow. 3-5" a legit possibility
  16. We took the hit today on this side of Middletown. Just patches now
  17. We saw that with the event on the 9th. The interior ended up doing better while areas out on LI were either too warm to accumulate or changed to rain.
